Hey LA folk, long time LA promoter Robtronik, who has been producing the twice monthly techno series Compression, is kicking off a new warehouse party, Planetary Series, aiming at recreating the other worldly, futuristic industrial feel of early ‘90s Detroit parties.
Located Downtown at an undisclosed warehouse location each event will pair a top name Detroit DJ with a European counterpart. First up comes Purple Planet on Feb 20, which will give an LA debut to Omar S, the talent behind the upcoming Fabric 45 mix and the FXHE label. He’ll be joined by Portugal based producer Bodycode and residents Robtronik and Developer. April 3 sees the next installment, Clear Planet, with another LA first, Anja Schneider of Mobilee, who’ll be joined by veteran Detroiter Dan Curtin.
